It has arrived....

Thanks to the Hess Family, DiBiaso Family, Matt's mom and dad.....the play gym is done! :) Luckily they were able to get it done and the kids could play on it. Thanks to all the parents that put up with their kids who didn't take naps!!!!

Here are the kids that were left when the project was completed. I think Melinda is picking Lilly up because while swinging she decided to point at one of our dogs....not a great idea when you just learned how to sit and hang on! ;)

Ethan was too funny one night...Matt was going for a run and brought out his shoes and socks. He left the room and came back in only to find Ethan put them on! Ha. PS...Good luck Daddy running the Mini-Marathon on Saturday!!!

Sticky Evan

Last week was so beautiful here! Not sure what happened!!! Had to bring in some of plants so they wouldn't die from the frost. We grilled out last week and the boys ate a great dinner! For dessert we let them have some sherbet! So...Evan...sherbet plus slobber is a mess! Matt and I were talking and all the sudden Evan was off the deck and in the sandbox...so now we have slobber, sherbet and sand! Great combination. Here are some pictures....Evan had already been stripped down to a diaper due to a blow out he had right before dinner! Please note...can't get a picture of the kid without some crazy smile!!!!

We went last Saturday to Aly's 3rd birthday and had a great time. I think the kids are starting to have "friendships" with each other. I know that Ethan talked about Neil and Lucas...and Evan well he likes to talk about Lilly!!!! We get to see them all again this Saturday at Elle's 2nd birthday party!!! Summer can't come soon enough....

The boys and I went up to Mimi and Paw's house for the day while daddy was in Japan. The boys were pretty bummed that the pool wasn't opened yet. Even at our house they saw their little blow up pool in the shed and Ethan wanted to fill it up with water. I said it isn't warm enough and he said "can't you feel the sun on your arms?; It is warm out." I thought this was a cute picture of them looking at Mimi and Paw's pool! :)

Project??

We have been trying to find a swing set for the boys this summer since we have decided to add on to our house. Finding a swing set has been a difficult thing...more time consuming than I thought. I found one at Walmart, but after calling 10 stores....none of them had it! We went to Menard's last night and found one. I tried to attach a "finished" picture of it, but it posted the whole Menard's ad page. I was talking to one of our neighbors about the swing set, and he said "is it a 12 beer project or 24?" Thought that was funny! Anyone reading this...if you are bored on Sunday come on over!!!! I will post some pictures while "they" are working on it! :)

Butt Crackin'

Ethan says the funniest things sometimes (keyword...sometimes! Ha). Lately he has been talking about his butt cracking...usually after he goes potty (please note...he had no accidents at school yesterday) and he is trying to pull up his underwear and pants. If he can't get them pulled up then his butt is hanging out...this is when he says "my butt is cracking out!" Well...funny Evan decided that butt crackin' out is something he wanted to try....................

Spring has sprung...

or at least until it gets cold this weekend! They boys have had a great time playing outside! Can't wait to get a new swing set....we just need about 5 volunteers???? Any takers???? These pictures are of them playing in the dirt. This is an area that we need to plant some grass in...do you think we will get any to grow?? I need to get Bob the Builder and his crew out of our yard! I guess we need to get the boys a sand box to play in this summer!

Today we woke up to some noise on the street! This is what we found...

And most of it was in our yard! Our water meter (for whatever reason) is in our laundry room...not outside where everyone else's reside! So...today the water company thought they would come dig up our yard! Great! It was very interesting for Ethan to watch, and it is still going on. I guess at some point they will come in the house and take out our current meter...they have already shut off the water for an hour or so. I over heard Ethan talking to himself about the equipment. He was saying daddy will drive the dump truck, mommy and Evan will ride in the white truck, and I will drive the backhoe! It was very cute! I decided that I would take some pictures so that he could put them in his photo album.

Almost every day...

Does any one else have this problem. I make a cup of coffee, and then get involved in something else (Super Why, dirty diapers, getting either the kids, dog, cat or fish breakfast, phone calls, emails, etc) only to find my coffee an hour later...cold. So I put it in the microwave to warm it up...even though I hate warmed up coffee! Then 8 hours later when I am thawing out some meat for dinner.....what do I find?????



My cup of coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe one day....I can enjoy a nice, fresh, semi-hot cup of coffee!!

I know that I often post funny faces of Evan...but the truth is....these are the only pictures of Evan that we get! Seriously....maybe 1 out of 100 pictures isn't some drool covered, snotty, all teeth showing big CHEESE!!! After almost 2 years of snot and slobber I am over it, but come on why can't the kid just smile? Because he is Evan...the crazy, full of energy, lovable 24/7, dare devil, never turns down a kiss, fire cracker that makes us laugh all day long!!! Enjoy some more of this pictures! Full speed ahead...

No pictures...been to0 lazy to upload them on the computer! Sorry...maybe later this weekend. I just wanted to update you on Ethan's potty training progress. HE FINALLY PEED AT SCHOOL!!! We are so happy! Today...I picked up Nanny and met Matt and the boys at IHOP for dinner (kids eat free). I was helping Matt get the boys out of the car and I told him that Ethan didn't have the right shoes on....I mean they were not his shoes...but someone else's from school. Matt said I know....teachers said that he used the potty a couple times during the day but didn't get there in time after his nap! So he peed everywhere....even soaked his shoes. Thank goodness they have some extra shoes! That is only the 2nd accident he has had in over 2 weeks!!! We were very proud of Ethan for finally peeing at school. He also has wore underwear to bed for 2 weeks, and not accidents! Now we need to get him to do #2...but I am not complaining (yet) he is awesome!!! We don't have to prompt him at all! He was playing outside on Monday with Evan, and I hear him tell Evan: "I will be right back bubby...I have to go pee in the potty!" I must admit it has been a lot easier than I thought it would have been...but that is the difference in waiting until they are 3! Ha. :) Have a great rest of the week.
