Vacation

Hi. Most of you know that we went on vacation from June 29th through July 7th. We went to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina with Matt's cousin, Jen, her family, and 2 other families. There were 8 adults, and 9 kids. The ages ranged from Evan being the youngest to a 4th grader...plus an 8th grader that came along to help keep all these kids in line! Ha.

We had a good time, and GREAT weather. We drove down in 2 days since it was a 14 hour drive, but on the way home we must have lost our minds because we drove it on one day! Lets just say...that wasn't a good idea. :) The picture above is a picture I took while driving in the mountains...kids don't do this at home. This is at the North Carolina/Tennessee border in the Great Smokey Mountains...I sure do the the smokies!!!

Evan is such a ham...he loves to have his picture taken, and then there's Ethan...he just turns away!

Another good one of Evan...he loves the camera!!!

Here is one good one (sort of) of Ethan...he is very against having his picture taken!!

Ethan sharing...yes I said sharing...doesn't happen too often...too badhe is sharing with Snoopy not his brother. The picture was taken at a boardwalk amusement park. Ethan had a lot of fun riding all the rides.

Ethan and Matt coming out of the ocean water. All the boys (and mommy) had fun swimming in the water. Evan could not get enough of the water!

We had a pool at our beach house too. We spent a lot of our time there. The water was cold, but the boys loved it! They could only last at the beach for about 1 hour. Evan was just eating too much sand and seaweed! And you think I am kidding! :) It was nice because the boys could lay down for naps, and we could still hang out at the pool.

This is a funny picture I took while driving...once again...kids don't do this. As you can see Evan and Matt are asleep, and actually Ethan is too...he is under the blanket! Ha. This was about the only moment of piece the whole 15 hours home! :)
